The
Mylapore Trio Amarnath, Surendranath, Aparna, Sugathan and Members conducted
the 18th year of "Bala Vidhwan Bavani" on Wednesday 1st
Jan. 2020. “Adaadhu Mazhai Peidhaalum Vidaadhu Bavani Nadathuvom ” a small group
of children and elders started singing Bhajans and Namavalis from Kapaliswarar
Temple despite heavy downpour. While on their way they took spiritual asylum at
Valleeswarar Temple and sang for half an hour and continued their spiritual
walk through the West Tank Street, North Mada Street and finally reached the
destination of Vaaniyarmandapam. Surendranath narrated stories of Mylapore and
its importance. He described the significance of the spiritual walk, which is
being held on the lines of Great Musicians like Shri. Papanasam Sivan.
Throughout the walk the group got drenched in heavenly showers and got immersed
in divine music. At the end all were offered Venpongal and Kesari
as Prasaadham.
