Registrations Open for 12th year “Visesha Kala Poshakam Utsav” - 2018.

Greetings!

On behalf of Sri Sumukhi Rajasekaran Memorial Foundation, we are delighted to extend a Free Platform to Talented Artists (Solo / Duo / Group – All Age Groups) from the large Indian Diaspora, to showcase their skills in the 12th Year International Art Festival – “Visesha Kala Poshakam Utsav”, which will be held from 1st to 5th February, 2018, (Evenings) at Narada Gana Sabha - Mini Hall (A/C), Alwarpet, Chennai, during the hugely popular Music and Dance Season in Chennai. It aims to attract endowed Artists from India and Abroad, specializing in Indian Classical Dances. The Event promises an intellectual and spiritual experience for the Participants and Spectators. All of these will happen in the temperate and cool Chennai climate during the Season.

Travel, Boarding & Lodging, Incidental & Miscellaneous Expenditure must be borne by the Artists and Remuneration will not be given by the Foundation. If the Terms are agreeable to the Artists, they are welcome to apply.

Registrations from 1st to 30th November, 2017.

Applications will be reviewed by a Panel of Experts and 10 Shortlisted Performers will alone be intimated before 15th December, 2017. One-hour time slot will be allotted to the selected Artists. For Dance - Solo / Duo / Group - Max.6 Numbers. CD preferred. (Live Orchestra at your expense).

  • Applications will be reviewed by a Panel of Experts and only the Shortlisted Performers will be intimated.
  • A Free Slot of One-hour will be provided to the selected Artists. 
  • For Dance Concert - Solo / Duo / Group. Recorded Music preferred. (Live Orchestra at your expense).
  • Travel, Boarding & Lodging, Incidental & Miscellaneous Expenditure must be borne by the Artists and Remuneration will not be given by the Foundation.
  • If the Terms are agreeable to the Artists, they are welcome to apply.
