A DIVINE RENDEZVOUS WITH SRI RAMANUJAR by THE MYLAPORE TRIO AND SUGATHAN during his 1000th Birth Anniversary Celebrations.

The Mylapore Trio and Sugathan had the divine blessings of Sri Ramanujar to create an EXCLUSIVE GOLU for Him and to perform DIVINE DANCE as their humble submission to Him.

SRIRANGAM - 2014, 2015, 2016

At the divine instinct and blessings of Sri Ramanujar Golu was arranged which created history at Srirangam along with Chi.Sugathan Naatya Samarpanam. We created history because Great Grand Golu was kept for the FIRST TIME which was not a part the temple custom and practice even Before and After the period of Sri Ramanujar. The Sacred Saint directed and blessed us to arrange a massive, magnificent Golu for Sri Ranganatha, Sri Ranganayaki Thayar, and to himself.

Like wise Sugathan created history by presenting his Naatya Samarpanam from 2014 for the FIRST TIME since 70 years as an Aatma Nivedanam at the 1000 pillared hall in the Thirunmamani Mandapam amidst the divine Golu. Only devadasis danced there many decades back and later it the custom was shelved.

CHENNAI TRADE FAIR – Feb / March, 2017

The second tryst was at the behest of Smt. Thirumagal ADC, HR&CE. The Mylapore Trio and Sugathan arranged a small Ramanujar Golu at the HR&CE Stall at the Trade Fair held at the Island Grounds. Thousands of people witnessed the display and were educated about the saint.

SRIPERUMBUDUR – April / May, 2017

Again The Mylapore Trio and Sugathan had the divine benedictions to conceptualise, create and arrange a golu on the the life history of Sri Ramanujar at his birth spot. Again Sugathan was blsessed to dance in the Govt. organized Cultural Programme in Sriperumbudur on the Inaugural Day of the Udayavar Brahmotsavam. 

MYLAPORE – RAMANUJAR GOLU AT HOUSE 1st May, 2017

“The Mylapore Trio” and Sugathan arranged a Thematic Golu with a Pictorial Life History of Sri Ethirajar at their house for 10 days during the “Udayavar” Utsavam from 21st April till 1st May 2017 at their house in R.A puram.

At the creative and artistic inputs given by the Mylapore Trio and Sugathan the specially crafted doll of Sri Ramanujar in the form of “Thamana Thirumeni” which was placed in Srirangam Golu was brought and placed in Trio’s house during the Millennium celebration. The “Thamana Thirumeni” is a form of the saint’s mummified physical body at Srirangam. Also the dolls of all the important Perumals who played important role in his life was placed around the Saint. His pictoral Life History consisting of 112 colourful frames ware displayed as a backdrop-adding flavor.

On 1st May a Special Pooja, a Dance & Musical Concert and a Talk on Sri Ramanuja and his Visishdatvaita, was organized by them. Dr. Vidya Sainath (Ph.D in Philosophy) gave a talk on Him, Sugathan performed Abhinaya for a few songs rendered by the Foundation Children. After the Pooja, Akkaaravadisal, Puliyodarai, Thathyonam Prasadam was distributed to all the devotees.
