The “Mylapore Trio” – Amarnath, Surendranath, Aparna, Secretary - Sugathan and Members of Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation conducted the 156th “Kala Poshakam” - Monthly Concerts on Wednesday, 30th January, 2019 at Narada Gana Sabha, Mini Hall, Chennai. It is a Free Platform offered to all Artists of Chennai and all over India.
The programme started with a Solo Bharatanatyam Concert by Kum. Sharada Acharya, from Chennai a product of Kalakshetra. She showcased an enchanting Bharatanatyam performance with remarkable items. Her Bhava and emotions were captivating.
This was followed with a Solo Bharatanatyam Concert by Smt. Radhika Vairavelavan from Chennai, she is also an alumnus of Kalakshetra. Her sparkling abhinaya made the audience awe. Noteworthy piece was her Aichiyar Kuravai from Silapadikaaram.
Both the Artists were accompanied with a full bench live orchestration.
