The Mylapore Trio, Sugathan and Members Celebrated the 143rd
Month Programme - a Special “Kala Poshakam” on December 9th at
Adyar. The whole progrmme was hosted by Mrs. Meenakshi Sundaram, Member of the
Foundation, whose hospitality is always evergreen. Smt. Sampoornam (the
youngest sister of Late Shri. T.R.Subramaniam, Reverent Musicologist) rendered
a talk on “Culture and its relevance to Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation”
which was very apt and knowledgeable peppered with useful tidbits. Chi. Deepak
Srinivas played Classical Music on Guitar, which was amazing and music to the
ears. Chi. Venkat Sharma accompanied him on the Mridangam. The ambience was
rich with an elegant shamiyanaa and a canopy.
The cultural evening was followed by a sumptuous dinner. It was
indeed a memorable day because it was also the Wedding Anniversary of Aparna
and Yogesh and all members of the Foundation numbering around 60 attended this
Special “Kala Poshakam” to commemorate the occasion.
