The Mylapore Trio,
Sugathan and Members of Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation celebrated
Thyagaraja Aradhana for the 14th year on Sunday 12th March 2017 at the Foundation premises. Smt.
Bhagyalakshmi Suresh and disciples (Founder and Director of Ganapriya School of
Music) rendered “Pancharatna Kritis’ of Saint Thyagaraja which was very
mellifluous and soaked in piety. The ambience was divinely decorated which
added flavour and vibrancy. At the end of the Pooja, Mangala Aarathi was
performed and Sarkarai Pongal was distributed as Prasadam to all the devotees
who had gathered around fifty in number. All the members, performers and
rasikas presented themselves in Traditional Attire to suit the ambience.
