On the second day Sugathan Mohandass described Appu - Blue representing Water - Thiruvanaikaal Sthalam in which he narrated about rivers like Ganges, Kaveri & Yamuna and the special Uchikaala Pooja performed by the Priest in the guise of the Godess. He used a blue veil as a prop to represent bluish water which was very apt.
Second day of the Natya Utsav started with a Kuchipudi recital by Bala Thripura Sundari’s disciples (Abhinaya Vani Nrithya Nikethan) from Hyderabad, which was traditional and authentic. Next was Reshma Nagar & her disciples (Synchrony Kathak Dance Academy) from Surat, presented an energetic Kathak performance along with a dozen of dancers including 3 tiny tots, showcased their talents.
