3rd Year Great Grand Golu at "Srirangam Ranganathar Temple"-2016

To commemorate the historic occasion of the 1000^th Birth Anniversary of Saint Ramanujar, “The Mylapore Trio” and Sugathan organized a very massive and magnificent Thematic Golu for the Third time at Srirangam Temple, as an offering at the Lotus Feet of Goddess Ranganayaki Thaayar & Sri Ranganathar. The Theme was “Sri Ranganatha Mangalam – Sri Ramanuja Mangallam”, which signifies an auspicious beginning and a good finale. The ‘Bhooloka Vaikuntam’ at the Centre with a divine Odam was the highlight. The Golu was inaugurated by “The Mylapore Trio” and Sugathan by lighting the Kutthu Vilakku along with other VIPs – including Trustees, Sponsors, TAG Chari, Joint Commissioner of Srirangam Temple.  They showered encomiums on the Trio & Sugathan for putting up the Great Grand Golu which was Out of the World and Divine and appreciated and honoured “The Mylapore Trio” and Sugathan for their dedicated service and earnest efforts. Smt. Thirumagal Additional Commissioner HR&CE also visited the Golu and was amazed at its divinity and grandeur. She appreciated them for their committed work. Lakhs of people from different cross section of the society – Devotees, Sadhus, Pandits, Tourists, NRIs, Foreigners, Scholars, Vedic Students, School and College Students and Public from all over India, witnessed the blissful festival at the sacred 1000-pillared hall in the Srirangam Temple during those Ten days. On the final day Sugathan presented a lone divine performance as Aatma Nivedanam to the lord in the midst of divine dolls at the Golu Mantapam. It was indeed a very great Bhaagyam for us to be at the beck and call of Lord Ranganathar at the doorstep of the heavenly Thirumaamani Mantapam at Bhooloka Vaikuntam Srirangam all through the Navarathri.
